About The Founder

 BETTY WILLIAMS, Founder Of WELIVEHARLEM.com, WLH-WELIVEHARLEM Radio & WELIVEHARLEM.TV. She has been in the music and party and promotion industry since 2002. Betty fell into the scene by accident, while in college  she interned at Zomba Music Publishing; the publishing side of Jive Records it became her job for a year. She assisted the VP of Creative Services whom co-manage groups such as 3LW and Bonafide. 

While there, she was expose to many different elements like label and artist relationships also party and promotion. That’s when she knew what she had to do.

Betty became the Founder & CEO of an independent record label named YOUNG LIFE RECORDS & ENTERTAINMENT. Under her independent label she had an artist name SANATRA. While promoting the label and  her artist. Betty was able to join an overseas tour call NEW YORK BUTTA LIVE TOUR. Its was a 3day radio tour in Brussels. That tour allowed her to connect with members of the 57^th Dynasty that lead her to London to promote her Label.

The reason Betty created WeLiveHarlem, is to show that Harlem is a community of its own. We can get all our needs within steps  from our door.
